18th Century Hand- Coloured Map Print - Ashburton To Plymouth Devon - c.1760

A lovely 18th Century map plate from an atlas, depicting the route from Ashburton to Plymouth, with a side margin description of Plymouth and a bottom margin description of the Arms of East Looe, all hand-coloured and glazed and set in a later Hogarth frame. In all a nice decorative piece to brighten your wall!! It measures 14" x 11 1/2" in the frame, visible image 7 1/2" x 5". It has a label to the back from an old map & print dealer in Dartmouth, long since gone, guaranteeing its date. It is in good overall condition, a small amount of foxing to the print but nothing to detract from the overall look. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this item.
