1923 Cauldon Pottery Commemorative Mug - Winnington Works Northwich - 1873

An interesting pottery mug, made by the Cauldon factory in 1923 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Winnington Chemical Works, in Northwich Cheshire, in 1873. It is decorated with brown transfer-printed portraits of the founders and the information pertaining. In all an interesting and unusual piece of commemorative china from a top factory! It measures 3" high. It is marked to the base with a black printed back-stamp (see photos). It is in excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration.
