Art Deco Parrott & Co. Coronet Ware Butterfly Pattern Biscuit Barrel & Ashtray

A stylish and pretty pottery biscuit barrel (or "cookie jar" if you are that way inclined! 😀), sold with a matching Ashtray, both made by the Parrott & Co. factory in their Coronet Ware range, decorated in the "Butterfly" pattern with transfer-printed decoration depicting butterflies amidst foliage on an ivory ground, each has chrome plated fittings. In all a nice couple of pieces of prime Art Deco ceramics from a collectable factory!! The biscuit barrel measures 7" high with the lid, the ashtray 4" diameter and 2" high. Both pieces are marked to the base with a black printed backstamp (see photos). Both pieces are in excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration.
