A lovely pottery Toby Jug style teapot, with a treacle glaze finish, in the Rockingham style, probably dating from c.1830's. In all a nice unusual and decorative early 19th Century teapot with its original lid!! It measures 10 1/2" high. There is no mark as to maker that I can see. It has some good old professional restoration to the spout, only visible when you look closely (see photos), otherwise no other damage or restoration. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this item.
