A lovely Staffordshire Pottery teapot of double-sided "Toby" form, with hand-painted decoration and copper lustre highlighting, probably made by the Allerton factory and dating from late 19th Century. In all a lovely variation on the typical Toby Jug from a top factory!!
It measures 7 1/2" high including the lid and 9 1/4" long including the handle and spout. There is no mark as to maker that I can see. It is in good overall condition with no damage or restoration.
