Late 19th Century Watercolour - Udaipur India - Herbert Lyndon - 1898

A nice late 19th Century watercolour, depicting the Indian city of painted by the Udaipur from the lake, painted by the well known artist Herbert Lyndon, dated '98, glazed and gilt mounted in a gilt frame. In all a really well executed view of an interesting Indian city. It is signed and dated to the bottom left corner and has a detailed note about the subject to the rear. There is some foxing to the paper, a lot of what is visible in the photos is to the inside of the glass and could be removed with a careful dismantling and cleaning,, otherwise in good overall condition.
