Item Details
A truly delightful pair of 19th Century cut-out watercolour paintings, one depicting a Blacksmith at work, the other a lady Egg-Seller, really nice and naively done, probably Welsh in origin, cut-out and mounted on paper, glazed and set in a contemporary gilt gesso frames. In all a wonderfully naive pair of Folk Art watercolours!!!!
Each measures 11 1/2" x 9 3/4" in the frame. There are no signatures that I can see. Both are in good overall condition, both frames have small bits of gesso mouldings missing and scuffing to the gilt but nothing to detract from the overall look of these great pictures!!
