Pair of Late 19th Century Brown Westhead Moore Pottery Flow Blue Plates c.1890

A pair of lovely Flow-Blue decorated pottery plates, made by the Brown, Westhead Moore factory of Cauldon Place, with transfer-printed decoration in the "Pastoral" pattern, depicting a cat amongst ducklings and three hounds respectively, with a moulded basket-weave pattern border. In all a pair of very decorative flow-blue plates from a top 19th Century factory!!! Each measures 10 1/4" diameter. They are marked to the base with a blue printed backstamp and impressed marks (see photos). Both plates are in excellent overall condition with no damage or restoration.
