Pair of Super 18th Century American Colonial Watercolours - Thomas Ryves 1770

A pair of small 18th Century watercolour paintings by the artist Thomas Ryves, depicting Colonial American landscape scenes, signed and dated 1770 in the border of one, both glazed and set in their original giltwood frames. In all a really super and interesting pair of small watercolours of Colonial American interest!! Each measures just over 7 1/4" x 6 1/2" in the frame, visible image just under 5" x 4". One is signed and dated to the border and also has a previous auction description pasted to the back (see photos). They are in good overall condition for the age, a bit faded and the frames have faded down nicely. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about this item.
