Pair of Vintage African Paintings - S. U. Okesie - Nigeria - River View 1950s

A pair of lovely vintage African paintings by the well-known Nigerian artist S. U. Okezie, each depicting a river scene with fishermen and boatman, signed and dated 1954, glazed and mounted in a contemporary frame. In all a really lovely pair of African Mid-Century paintings from a well-known Nigerian artist! Each picture measures 23" x 19" in the frame, visible image 14 3/4" x 11". Both pictures are signed to the bottom left corner and dated 1954. Both pictures and frames are in good overall condition with no damage or restoration.
