Item Details
A lovely pair of vintage watercolours depicting scenes from the Isle of Wight by the artist Kenn Burchett, executed in a sweetly naïve Folk Art style way, each glazed with a gilt slipped mount and set in gilt frames, probably dating from the early 20th Century. Both are named in pencil to the rear, one is "White Cliff Bay", the other I'm not sure. In all a really nice pair of Folk Art style watercolours!
Each measures 12 1/2" x 10 1/2" in the frame, visible image 7" x 5". They are both signed to the bottom corners "Kenn Burchett" and inscribed in pencil to the rear. Both are in good overall condition, a bit of fading to both, which I think adds to the Folk Art charm, but no damage or restoration.
